Our Facilities

at the Bookcliffs Arts Center
The Bookcliffs Arts Center offers a variety of facilities including the Historic Stone House and the Sunrise Arts Garden & Performance Area

The Stone House

The Stone House is a beautiful 100 year old home complete with a full kitchen and one and a half baths. With a generous great room used as a gallery, it doubles as the stage for Open Mic Nights. The Stone House is our primary meeting site for community groups. It also houses the BAC offices, resource library and Culinary Arts Program.

Sunrise Arts Garden & Performance Area

Sunrise Arts Gardens will display a variety of outdoor art, including sculpture and murals. The Community Gardens offers space for our community to grow their own food. As our master plan grows, The Arts garden will preserve three areas of open space to be utilized for:

  • Vendor booths for local artists
  • A variety of outdoor performances
  • A mural wall
  • An interactive sculpture installation

The Community Garden

The Rifle Community Garden project provides community-maintained garden plots in order to promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle through gardening while facilitating access to fresh produce to Center members within our local community. The 32 garden plots are made available on a first come, first serve basis. Watch for summer classes, taught by one of our Master Gardeners/Chefs, in our Events Calendar.
